Bringing my integra type R conversion to the U.S,
Im from the island of Guam in the south Pacific. Guam is a U.S. Territory and they saw we follow California state laws regarding DOT and EPA issues. Though they do not do any kind of smog testing out here. Im in the military (Navy) and I'm transfering to the U.S. in April of 2007. I was wondering if my (U.S. Version) 1994 Acura Integra RS Coupe w/ JDM TYPE R Front End Conversion (Non-Hid), 96' B18C Spec R motor, with full JDM/USDM Interior would pass the Docks of the U.S. upon arrival? Can anyone relate or share any experience to this issue? Thanks Guys!!!
If its a US integra and you have a US Title for it, you will have no problems bringing it back. You will, however, need to pass inspection and emissions.
well # 1 your luck u have a 95+ motor in it cuz 94 on down it would be turned away at the inspection place.... if you have all the emission stuff hooked up for a 95 lets say gsr thast the closest thing to your car you should be fine.. getting it into the country might not be the issue but getting it registered and passing smog or what ever state emssion you have might be
