Okay i'll give you the facts first, my little bro who is a senior this year in high school, just got his EBP Em1. Hes had it for only 1 month or so and the car has been locked inside our back yard with gates for the entire time. Just this past week my parents finally let him drive it to school and work. Well this morning 11/7/06 i got a call from my little bro and he tells me, who ever it was, tried prying his driver side window (which is all bent up)late last night. Luckily his pager alarm went off, but stupidly he didn't get up and check his car until the next morning. I guess the the thief ran after he heard the alarm. I'm sick of these thieves expletive, my uncles ITR got jacked about a year ago right in front my house too. Im guessing it might be the same guy, y would i think that, becuz my uncles ITR had no alarm what so ever so he could of pryed the window open and took off with the car. Honestly, if i didn't pressure him to get a good alarm, his **** would of been gone forsure. So i guess thats +1 saved (at least for now). Sorry if nothing make sense haha. O and all of this happend in Santa Barbara, CA...i dont get it i live in a nice neighborhood too. If your reading this bitch dont come back cuz i'll be waiting.

 

there was that sniper guy in the past shooting people on the 101 in SB. perhaps you also need to be a sniper guy.

What kind of alarm is it? If it's not Compustar, I highly recomend it. Mine on my car is so freaking sensitive, even a tap on the window will make it chirp or set it off. My sister has a Viper on her car and sesitivity is turned up all the way, not as good as my compustar alarm. Just a suggestion.

Its one of the DEI alarms...i dont want to mention it...good quality install too...just a little too parnoid..

i think the rule on that is if the subject looks be like he is leaving the area and you shoot you are at fault but if it looks like they are coming at you and they are shot they are at fault. something along those lines but dont quote me on that.

 

i think if that if you shoot, you better make sure he never makes it back off of your property...

true...i just hope he doesn't come back or anybody else...lately for the past year alot of cars has been jacked in the santa barbara area. My buddies EBP Em1 got rolled just a year ago

 

Just stick a pitbull inside the car at night for security.

hey it works. one time my uncle did that because he had a lot of break-ins to his car. one day he put his pit into his car over night with the windows down. and coincidently the thief came back that same night and got into his car. the dog was sleeping in the back seat and when he heard the door open, the dog jumped and bit the guys hand. he got arrested because he was laying on the ground crying like a little bitch. haha
