I have a 92 DOHC ZC and i`m useing NGK which i thought all honda engines took. But i found a manual for my engine and i was just reading the specs and it says to use champion plugs.

Is anyone running these in the ZC engine? Cause mine does have a little miss to it and i just changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Could i be useing the wrong plugs?

 

did u gap them and wut type of ngks are they

 

DOHC ZC should be using NGK BCPR6E-11

 

I think they were NGK v-groove or something like that. I gaped them to 1.0 mm so that`s not the problem.

Anyways i brought it in to work at lunch and checked the IACV. I unpluged it will and started up my car it idled at about 750rpm and should have droped to 500-550rpm and it didn`t so i guess that could be a problem.

I just didn`t understand that it would say to use champion plug.
