Just got mine. Says something about the wire rubbing the seat frame and causing the SRS light to come on and off, or stay on. Blah blah warranty, blah blah free of charge.... nothing big. I'll get it done when I have time, I'm not having the problem but might as well take her in.

Unless your car has a stored DTC the only thing they do is put some felt around a OPDS wire. No big deal at all and most will not need the OPDS unit which is the worst case senario.

My driver seat sounds horrible. It creaks like an old rocking chair.
I went to a dealer and he called me fat... in a "nice" way. I'm huge but still... no other car I ever owned had that problem and this one's new.

It's not because of your weight. I weigh 160lbs and mine made noise. Warranty will pay for a new seat track if you bug them.

Seat track? It's not the track in my case. Its the seat itself.

The bottom cushion is part of the seat track and almost all of it is replaced. Unless yours is coming from the seat back.

Oh ok. Any advice on how to get these guys to replace this? I mean... without calling me fat and sending me home with a defective seat?

Call Hondas customer relations line. The numbers in the owners manual. Tell them your problem and that the dealer was not helpful in resolving your issue and they will take care of it. Unless your 400lbs there is no way they can deny a claim. They design the car to function for people large enough to fit in the car and wear the seatbelt, if it fails under those terms then it's a warranty issue. Besides, the dealer gets paid for doing warranty work. We never turn down work at our dealer that we can get paid for and the customer can leave happy after.
