Im curious I just re did the complete lip of my volk wheels. 17" Volk GT-N's the lips were all discolored like from acid rain or something, and i am curious if I can clearcoat the lip of the wheels now to keep them looking perfect? Like they are aperfect mirror finish and before re assembling the rim and center part (real 2 piece wheel) can I just Spray Can them with clear paint? to protect the finish on them? Or will the lip stay perfect for a while? i just dont wanna have to use mothers polish on them everytime i was the car, you know.
Can you spary clearcoat Spray paint on bare metal will it stick? I mean its like a mirror glass shine and doesnt look like it would stick to me...

i wouldn't just spray them myself. i would have them professionally cleared by a wheel repair shop.

i have gotten several wheels repolished and i prolly used never dull polish on them once a month at the most and never had any problems.
