Ok, I have been looking around the HRP pages to see if there are any events happening in June or July that would be worth having H-T members from all parts of Texas come down to Houston to meet.

June 1st(Saturday):
-We all go to the NHRA Summit Import Racing Series(Toyo Nationals). Event begins at 9am and ends later in the afternoon. http://www.houstonraceway.com/cal2000/hr06012002.htm
-At 4 or 5pm we all meet somewhere at Houston Raceway Park and then all together(so no one gets lost) over to Clear Lake Park or some park closer to the event.
-6pm will be the time of the Meet/BBQ at Clear Lake Park(or the park we ultimately decide upon) and it will end at 9:30pm.
-At 9:30pm we all head out to the corner of Gessner and Westheimer(strip center beside Sonic) and hang out and then afterwards head out to some races.
-Sunday will be finals of the Toyo Nationals at HRP.


Again, I feel this would be better for all Texas H-T members. PLus, it gives other people a reason to come down to Houston for something other than BBQ. I would like to see at least 30+ members show up for this if we plan on doing it. A week before the Meet, I will post the info again to remind everybody.

I wouldn't mind driving down. If everything works out right for me I should be there on either date. Just keep us posted on which one.

i live in the galleria and am a frequent visitor of the "rice show" on westheimer. I am game for the 13th. the 1st kinda sux, i am helping my bro w/ a s/c install.

 

July 13th would be way better for me ( and a few others, it sounds like ) - still ordering parts; haven't even STARTED the swap yet

I haven't met anyone from here I hope I just blew a headgasket though. Then I can booost boooooost boooooooooooooooost away!! 13 th is good for me. More time to fix my car!!
