I recently purchased a 2002 Honda Accord EX with 45,000 miles on it. I am having a problem with the idle while the engine is cold. First thing in the morning, it sometimes takes 4-5 times of turning over to start, then it sputters on. If I drive it at this point when the engine is cold, the engine putters and shudders and it idles really rough when I am slowing down or at a stop. I can hear an audible puttering in the engine. This continues until the engine is warmed up completely, and even then it is slightly noticeable at times. The RPM does not jump or fluctuate. I cleaned and then replaced the IAC vavle, checked the vacuum lines for leaks, and had the fuel injectors flushed. Anyone heard of this problem?
