i have decided to do this is my newly acquired 89 civic hatch. But what IM do i use? i have read a lot of things on this conversion but no one really specifys what IM they use. im guessin the si IM would be best? can a b-series one be used? please fill me in. Id really like to get my d-series project started. ( just finished my b-series car. A 93 integra with an b18c5 swap turbo'd and sprayin)

i "think" all d series are interchangable, you def can use a a6, but i think a z6 and y8 work also.

Boosted Chemist is right i u can use pretty much any D-seies intake. but if u want to retain the stock look u should go with this one....

if u use the one from a 92-95 ex/si mani then u are left with the map sensor on the trottle body like this one...

since ur gonna do this i would go ahead and slap on the v-tec head and do the mini me conversion a lil extra work but u get more power out of it. im sellin everything needed for the swap if ur interested here is my link i got it posted on craigslist here in sac. http://sacramento.craigslist.o....html
