The first post does, in fact, state that the mileage is 109k miles, and the condition is cherry. No grinds.
Not sure why there is low compression. Leak down was 12-15% on the motor, but the transmission is fine.

Let me re state it, on the long block, what is the mileage, i would assume its the same as the transmission but it is possible for it to be different. I am not interested in the tranny, i didn't want to lead you on that i was. what are the compression numbers, does it still run good? leak oil/burn oil? <---the motor that is

Ohhh, im sorry. I completely misunderstood you- my apologies.
Yes, the motor has the same mileage as the tranny. My friend bought the crx (i found it for him) with 103k original miles. It was dirt cheap because it "kept overheating," and the owner didnt know what was wrong with it. We bought it, changed the head gasket, and ran fine until now. In preparation for boost, we had it leak down tested, and I think the numbers were ike 4,12,8 and 15%. So those two cylinders arent good enough for boost. Then the plans died for a while because my friend got cheap. He was driving down the road one day and it just died on him, and wouldnt start back up. No "boom" or "clank," it just kind of shut off. So were not 100% sure whats wrong with it. It could be the rings, but Im more inclined to think its an issue within the head. Either a warped head, or bad valves due to the frequent overheating from the last owner. But like I said, thats just a guess. Motor is sold "as is."

yea same thing happened to mine, except when i took the spark plugs out it looked like somone beat on cyl #1 with a hammer, so something let loose.... so now i need a new d16a6
