Default Rough sound when under normal driving, half shaft?

Hello, I have a problem, when I am driving in a straight line, or turning right, the driver side front end of my car makes a noise that almost sounds like a toned down version of driving on snow, its not a squeal or click, but more or less sounds like some sort of unlubed bearing or something, instantly when I turn left, wheter a little or all the way the sound goes away. Almost sounds like driving on snow a little bit, on normal concrete. I am curious to find out what causes this and if I can simply lubricate the part that is spinning rather than replacing it. I never thought much of it until more people started noticing this recently (I have bad hearing). Thanks guys.

I had that problem. Wheel bearings in the front needed to be replaced.

The halfshaft usually lasts the life of the car. Sounds like the axel or a really bad wheel bearing.

I think I am going to replace both, usually I stick with oem, but is it a bad idea to go aftermarket. Im willing to spend the 100 bucks on oem for both sides if it is worth the differnce in quality.
