Default Quick question?

I was wandering if any body knew what the plug right below the distributer is , it threads into the block and shares the same harness as the o2 sensor , im asking because one of the wires on the plug is cut in half and didnt know how important it is, i just want to be able to get it fixed thanks for the help it is a d15b2 thanks

Should go to one of the temp senders.
The one just under and deep is the gauge sender and the one next to it (towards front) is the temp sender for the ecu and cooling system.

gauge sender has 1-wire (yellow/green) - ECU sensor has 2-wires (red/white and green/white)

This sound like were not on the same page.
If it was one of the wires we are all talking about then by cutting it you would either have no temp reading at the cluster , or the car would run like *** and you would get a CEL.

Bump for pics of what were looking at.
