Default Need machined spacers for disk brake conversion

I am a little stuck with my Wilwood brake install because I need to space the rotor hats away from the rotors in order to get them to fit in my car.

I need 2 ring-type spacers with the following dimensions:

-Aluminum or steel
-6.25" x 6 bolt pattern, 3/8" bolt holes
-5.75" ID, 6.75" OD (not a vital measurement)
-0.36" thick

If anyone here wants the job, please IM me a quote. All of the shops I have called either want to make 100 of the things minimum or have ridiculous prices.

I wish there was a marketplace forum for work like this, but I couldn't find one.

Thanks!

2 ways to reduce your cost
provide a CAD File to the shop quoting and provide the material. that way all your paying for it programming, setup and running it rather than abunch of other stuff. 1 off stuff costs alot of money because its time consuming if you can setup your machine to make 1 its just as easy to run 100 of them, so your spreading your fixed costs across many parts instead of one most shops charge 75-100 programming and 50-100 setup fee + run time + material so Im guessing those parts are going to cost about 300 bucks

I can provide .DWG but shops still have to convert it to G-code depending on the machine they use.

send me a copy of the dwg (dxf is better cause it's universal). you gotta find an ole skool machinist. i bet you that bracket spacer can be done on a vert. mill w/o programming involved.

some apps can even convert to bmp. just make sure the dims are legible.

from what you've said, you are starting from scratch?

Dang. My SolidWorks lisense expired. I can't convert it to dxf.

No, I am not starting from scratch. I have everything I need to install the brakes except this spacer. I machined the brackets and spacers when I was in school, but I made 6 individual spacers and the rotor slightly wobbles from some being a few thou off from the others. So I need the ring spacers to make it safe.

Let's see if this works:

http://www.mydatabus.com/publi...e.dxf

Not sure if it is formatted properly... Hopefully it is.

The thickness should be 0.36"

Lol, yes. Their prices are supposed to be better because you draft the parts... But they aren't.

Edit: Looks like I have found a vendor. Thanks!

Sorry. Since my solidworks lisense expired I can't seem to convert anything into anything else. Fortunately my fiance bought me another student lisense for Christmas. So I will have it for at least another year.

Anyway, I was PM'ed a pretty good price for the parts from a pretty reputable shop, so the need has been filled.
