I have been hearing a thump noise coming from the rear of the car, so I taked to one of the techs at honda. He said that there will be a recall soon for the 2006 si's, the rear passenger suspesion is defective. Is he right ? I thought it was my exaust hitting somewhere, but apparently not.

lol why are you getting sick and tired of it? You dont even have to pay for the repairs and most of the time its only a small portion of vehicles that are actually effected... not to mention most of the issues are so minor compared to other auto-makers new vehicles its not even worth mentioning.

 

Get outta here! My rear suspension on my 2000 si has been making noises ever since I picked it up in 2000 and there was never a recall. Kinda funny how it is a problem with the new si's!

 

why would it be just the passengers side? *shrugs* never heard any noise from mine.

 

Ha. I'm kinda glad I only put 50 miles on my stock suspension before replacing it all. No recalls for meh! Knocking on wood.
