slave cylinder.. master cylinder..?? questions
Ok, well after all the threads i made.. i came to the fact my problem has to be one of the cylinders.. my question is... how do these slave cylinder or mc work when your letting the clutch pedal out... when i slowly go to let my clutch pedal out it makes like a vibration noise.. its not my throwout bearing.. but my uncle was telling me that it could be my slave clyinder or master cylinder going bad... as if the brake fluid for the clutch isnt going through all the way? i have no clue how they work when it comes to the clutch.
simple description is when the pedal is pushed the master cylinder piston moves forcing the fluid from the mc to the slave cylinder. This in turn pushes the sc piston forward, moving the release fork disengaging the clutch. when the pedal is released the fluid moves the opposite direction The springs on the clutch pressure plate help force the clutch fork back in turn pushing the sc piston back.
Edit: A worn clutch or damaged fly wheel surface would cause the type of problem even a blown motor mount can cause vibration like that
