Injen SRI question ?
I just bought a injen sri from http://www.ultrarev.com/home.php?cat=0 it cost me like $215 which is the cheapest price i can find. I was curious do i have to change the filter every couple of months or is it a non-Maintenance filter and is it a K&N filter or a cheap filter ?. How does it stack up against a injen cai is it louder in the top end, low end, or across the full powerband ?. I will prob purchase an injen cai before the summer hit's this is my first intake and i wanted to start off small then work my way up. Ive looked over alot of post's on intake's for are SI's this seemed to be the best sri available hopefully i wont be disspointed and i bought this intake for sound and better air flow i can care less about 5hp gain's.
the filter is the type where you clean it every other oil change, or there abouts.. you have to buy a kit (like $10 at most) in which you clean the filter with water, then re-oil it with the kit, real simple, real cheap, just all round good stuff
you will likely feel a little gain at higher end rpms, but if yuo're sitting in traffic a lot on a hot day, you won't feel much through heat soak, but thats life, and its no biggie...
when you buy the injen CAI, email me, i'll buy ur SRI off you... i'm in the market for one, but can wait
and yes, Injen is one of the best manufacturers to buy from
