They have a little camber wear. But I think they will do well. My freind that I got them off of had them on a 99gsr with a jackson racing supercharger and 150shot of nitro. His best fast with that setup was 12.2.

I cant wait till next season.

i used those slicks with 360 whp and spun all the way through 4th, they were brand new also. i was doing 2nd gear burnouts out of the water box, and i would get them smoking. i thought they were just too small of a slick for the horsepower so i tried them on a neon with direct port nos system and they spun through 3rd. i then i decided i dont like m/t, and switched to mh. these passes were on about 6-7 lbs.

yeah I kinda assume they where a tad small for what I wanted but I got such a good deal that I couldnt pass them up. This spring im looking for 300+ hp so hopefully they will be ok until I get somthing taller.

sidewall is not very tall due to the 15" rim.. I ran the 22x8x13's at 7psi of tire pressure, hooked up well for me. I was making around 300whp. Run tubes.

what about axles. Is 300whp enough to take out a Autozone axle??? I had to drag race the 1st time ever and break an axle.

preload the clutch will help axle life.... also, i think the reason these slicks hooked up so well for me is because of my LS trans, VS the short gearing of a b16 or ITR.

Guy's if you need alittle more side wall, I do have the 7.5/23-15 and the 8.5/23-15.

I used the m/t 22'' slicks with 380whp, cut several 1.66-1.68 60ft's and ran 11.30@123 too. Be prepared for the track workers to tell you your tires are flat every run though, not much sidewall at all.

yeah I put them on the other day and noticed that 7psi isnt nothing. They did look flate. I took them out on the street and tryed to lauch it at 4800rpm. Nothing happen. With my b16 for now which is na, Im going to have to lauch it alot higher.
