i didn't really have time to work on it since it's been raining like crazy these past days in seattle.
but here is the story.
anyways, i went to my gf's house and dropped my car off there while we took hers to fatburger. after a few hours, i'm deciding to go home, but car is dead. when i parked it, i thought everything turned off, but i guess that wasn't the case! the stupid deck for some reason did not turn off. akward since there was no music playing, but i noticed the power button on the deck glowing as i was tryin to start it the second time.
so when i first tried to turn it on, all the lights turned on and it seemed just like a drained battery. when i tried to turn it over, it didn't make any click noise though. me and my gf tried to push start it, but it didn't work. (we didn't have any jumper cables) and now none of the lights are working.
anyways, 3 days later (since i've been busy) i go over with my integra to jump start it. i'm trying to turn on the car and it's not going. its not for probably 10minutes until the cluster lights actually turn on. i tried cranking it and i got nothing. a spark did fly from where the battery ground wire was attached to the chassis.
all the fuses to be ok. i didn't have a fuse puller, so i couldn't pull the small ones, but the big box ones are fine. should there be any fuse that i should look for in particular?
the car has been having a problem with the fuel system. i'm thinking it could just be a bad fuel filter. i don't think that could relate to my current problem though.
i'm probably gonna buy a new battery and throw it in there to see if that's the problem. i might just take the one out of my integra to test it first. i don't want to waste my money on a battery if i don't need to. lol
any insights on other possiblities?? TIA
