i have an aem cai on my lx. will get pics up for you tommorow, but it doesnt make a whole lot of noise when accelerating regularly and staying under 3.5k rpm. When accelerating fast, especially between 3.5k and 5.5k rpm, the car sounds like a throaty beast. i absolutely love that sound, especially because its not ricey overkill . ill get pics up tommorow.

hey guys i put an aem cai on my lx, and i have two questions. first, there is this rattle if when i start moving, its not like a "im not giving enough gas rattle", its more like a "theres something loose rattle". its only from like 1.5k-2k rpm, so its not a huge deal, but do you think there was something wrong with the install of the cai?

also, is there any way to get a bypass valve or something similar on the R18s, aem said the engine bay is too small, but im in seattle and its raining like hell and im scared to hydrolock.

thanks as always.

the intake is not probably tightend at the throttle body and get the injen filter wrap, that should help it from hydrolocking

Ive got an 06 civic Lx with a fujita F5 CAI, and yes it does make the car sound better, and as of horsepower...you will be looking at a small 6 to 11hp gain

This is my lx, fujita f5 Cold air intake and jdm valve cover. You cant see the MAF sensor but it is on the other side of the pipe right about where the fujita sign is.

That sounds about right, mine was about 260 after shipping, bought it on ebay about 2 months ago and havent had any problem with the cel or anything like that. gonna take it off for winter though, i dont want to ruin my engine w/ water coming in through the intake, that would be bad.
