is the mani from a 98 LX the same as a 99 DX both are d16 motors but the guy i am trying to buy from cannot confirm if his is a y7 or y6 etc.

mine has been welded several times but still leaks and i need a replacement without spending much $$ , so

will it swap easy? also - mine has a cat right off the header essentially his photo does not but i assume my cat is removeable?

all 96-00 civic has cat rite off the header....so i think its a diff header he trying to sell to u....and if u buy the header u need an aftermarket cat..

 

does the cat bolt on to the header or is it one piece? if it bolts on then i can use his- but if its one piece then its the wrong one

 

It's 1 piece. And yes they are the same manifolds!
