Default intakes for type r same as gsr??

i want to get a Fujita air intake for my gsr but i dont want a cold air intake. i wanted to know if i could use the type r air intake with my gsr manifold or would i have to change my intake manifold.

Gonna have to change your intake manifold. The throttle body on the GSR is lower.

Skunk 2 intake manifold, and stock throttle body. Problem is you need to tune for that Intake I believe.

cool so as long as i change the intake manifold and get it tuned with like hondata the type r Fujita should fit??????

unless you have cams and other mods, i would suggest you keep the intake manifold you have and get an intake made for a gs-r.

If you just decide to put an intake manifold on an otherwise stock car you're probably going to be losing power.

toda cams and camshafts are the same....... but if you are in fact upgrading cams along with a single stage manifold and ecu, then you'll definately notice a gain i the high end!
