hey i have a gsr cluster just laying around my garage. and i have a crx with gsr swap and i was wondering is it possible to connect a gsr cluster in my crx i know it is because i seen them. but im not sure because i have a gsr motor in the crx but i have the cable trans b16 with the cable speed sensor and gsr cluster is electrical speed sensor so im not very sure is if its possible you think i could still do it or no? please help me out it would be so cool if i could. and if i can please tell me how? thanks honda-tech

you would have to convert to the electronic vss, and become an expert on your dash wiring

 

there goes my idea. i suck at wiring you think that rywire could do it for me.

 

kinda sorta, we recently realized that you can pull out your cluster wiring, it disconnects at the fuse panel. Kinda a pain in the *** though. Conceivably, that's how we could do it. Otherwise, read the FAQ and How-To's on it, it's not that big of a deal really. Don't be afraid of gettin a lil smarter

 

hey peter i dont know if you remember me but you did my harness i while back ago like 2 months ago. for an obd2 gsr that i wanted to swap in my crx well its me adam. hey so do you think you can do it for me or what? and also will i have to change to an electric vss or speed sensor.

 

you will need an electric VSS for a 92 and up Honda
