does any one no how many miles to the gallon a B16 gets?

it depends on the driver, mostly, and driving habits and city/highway. I usually get 22-25 mpg city and 30-36 mpg highway, and an average of 28 with some of each.

Between 8-50mpg. Honestly post the setup, and then we might be able to get you a closer range. Eitherway, I would probally just search for a gas mileage thread, and look for people running a similar setup.

well i just did a b16 swap in my rex,
and im about to go to maryland in three weeks from south carolina,
planing on taking the honda, and im trying to do some estamation for the gas money,
if i leave it stock is 10.2 compression low enough to run on 87 gass?

personally, I wouldn't risk it, considering the rated octane on the jdm b16s was 95 according to the helms manual.... but others would argue that it would run okay on 87 as long as you don't hear detonation or whatever... and if you want good gas mileage, just stay off vtec the whole trip and you'll get decent mileage.

number 1: if someone else has the same question, your title will **** everything up when they use the search function.

number 2: one of the easiest ways to find out is do a google search for mileage on a 99-00 civic SI, del sol VTEC, or if you're lucky, a brochure for a european CRX w/ B16 (since it would be in english and easier to read)
