I've been reading up on swaps for hondas and toyotas from japan and was wondering to those that have swapped with a jdm engine, when a part goes out, like a water pump or an alternator, do you need a jdm water pump or if its an h22, can you just go get a a prelude water pump? I would appreciate answers from people who have experience with this, not just assumptions, unless your qualified to make assumptions.

 

For the most part, you can use a usdm replacement part...
