muffler question

i have a sohc with a catalytic just wondering if a 2 1/4 pipe with a stock muffler will still have a tone or is it just going to be quiet..

the muffler is what makes the tone different, it may be a little louder, probably barley noticable

so if i put a gsr muffler on it will that have a tone? the 5-0 got me fucked up thats why i gotta put a stock one on

the muffler is the thing that manages sound.
that part is the main/only variable for tone/loudness
