Default itr rear sway bar

i just picked up an itr sway bar with endlink bushings(i believe, can someone confirm that the itr comes with no bushings at the end) and one sway bar bushing.
i will be picking up the beaks mounting kit and lower tie-bar adapter. what else do i need and where should i get them. TIA

I just installed one.
The bsq instructions are awesome but don't use the larger drill bit he mentioned. It is too big. Just use the one in between the two he mentioned for a snug fit. YOu want to leave as much metal as possible.
Also, make sure you have it the right side up. It can be installed in two ways and one is wrong.
And about the tack welded nuts, make sure your chisel is right at the edge of the nut and subframe to give the weld the oomph to pop out. Otherwise, you'll be hammering for quite some time.

Man, I've had my ITR sway bar laying around for literally months because..
1. I don't have access/own a drill.
2. Don't really understand the tack welded nuts part. Do you hammer it from the front to back? Back being towards the rear bumper....?

screw the bolt in about half way, then hammer the bolt towards the rear bumper. the thing is that the bolt will be threaded to the nut, so when you hammer the bolt towards the rear bumper the nut will still be attached to the bolt when it comes off. do you get it? heheh

You can go to my webpage at http://www.geocities.com/bretq/swaybar_install.html for a complete list of parts (with part numbers) needed to install the Type-R rear swaybar. My webpage also contains step-by-step instructions with detailed photos.

You can get the parts at any Acura dealership or at a discount from A&H Motorsports ( http://www.ahmotor.com ) or Carland Acura ( http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net ).

BSQ's instructions =

When you're hammering the nut, don't hammer like you're driving a nail, hammer like you want to break something (because you do ). I was kinda nervous about taking a sledge to my car, but believe me, those little spot welds will break long before the subframe will. Good luck!

1. Any $20 dril will do the job as long as your bits are in good shape. I used my POS $20 cordless weak little drill from Walmart and it did the job. My other drill is too damn big.

2. Tack welded nuts? Hmmmmm, you need room for momentum when you hammer it out, and a good chisel.

In addition to the Type-R rear swaybar it sounds like you also have the endlink bushings (black rubber bushing in each end of the swaybar) and the endlink collars (round metal collars inside of the rubber endlink bushing).

and the endlink collars (round metal collars inside of the rubber endlink bushing).
Is this part (endlink collars) on the list on your website? It is currently unavailable.

Yes, it is part #5 on my website [52312-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing collar (4 needed) – this part can be reused from the stock swaybar]

Geez, I recall only using two of them. Four? Let me read it again.

If I understand your question correctly...yes, you can still purchase the Type-R rear swaybar.

ITR Sway bar with BSQ kit
I had a little trouble with the sealed nuts bc I was nervous about making a hole in the sub.
