Default 4thGen h22 swap issues....Need Help!...

I have a 93 h22a1 swapped into my 92 prelude si...got the car started yesterday, but the car seems off time

car doesnt have a knock sensor and i am using a MAP sensor from an OBD1 civic EX...I also dont have an o2 sensor

when i turned the car on...the car has a lot of backfires....i think this is due to me not connecting the vacum lines on the Intake Manifold correctly....

the car also idles rougly from 1000k-3000k, then it runs somewhat fine

im using an obd1 h23 dizzy, should i use h23 spark plugs and wires or should i use the h22 ones?

What should i look for and what should i replace to make my car run normally

What about the big vacum line on the back of the intake manifold. That will cause it to idle rough.

Make sure all your vacuum lines are connected and any unused ones cap them off. Also try and use as much H22 specific parts as possible, Spark leads and plugs for starters, Have you put a timing light on it to see if the timing is off any?

I found that its best to start with a completely stock setup with all sensors etc, then start removing components as you go along. You then have a better chance of tracking down faults as they occur.
