Whats up guys, just checking into the Motorcycle Forum, cause i haven't been here in forever! I'm still down at Fort Benning, in my final week of Airborne School. I'll be making 5 jumps this week, 3 of which will be with combat gear, and i'll graduate on Thursday ... and be on my way back home, to see my friends .. family .. and ... my RR! With my luck, of course, it's been insanely dry back at home the whole time i've been down here for training, up until now when i'm about to go back, and it's raining like crazy.

I havn't been able to keep up on my bikes, but i did see the 07 RR, and i still think i'm a fan of the 03-06RR. With my pay since July thats pretty much been untouched, and my bonus i'll be getting when i get to my duty station, i'll be looking into a new bike, and selling my 03RR. I'm thinking about an 05 600RR, but not quite sure yet.

Anyways, sorry for the long speech and i apologize if this is a little off topic, but i just wanted to say hello to you all, and i everybody had a safe summer on their bikes, and continue to do the same!

You weren't allowed to use computers at Airborne School? Whenever we're off, we can do whatever the hell we please. Me? I check my email and whatnot, and pass the hell out at like 8pm ha.

I havn't gotten to jump out of a plane yet So today .. had to wake up at 0320 for a 0340 formation. We run to the airfield, eat chow, get suited up and inspected, and sit till 0800 when we find out one of our birds isn't working right, and the other bird takes a load of guys up ... and half hour later, comes back cause the wind is over 10 knots (can't be past 10knots for 1st jump, 13 knots is the roof for any other jump). So, we sit .. for the next 10 hours until 6:00, on a hard bench, suited up and not being able to adjust our gear, and not drinking any water cause we can't get out of our rig to pee.

So, we most likely won't be graduating on Thursday, and supposedly a thunder storm is heading our way! ahhhh. And i miss my RR

Thanks everyone for warm welcome back ... i look forward to getting back on my bike, getting a new one, and getting back into the HT community.

 

Good to hear from ya. That airborne school sounds kinda damn fun.

 

Well is graduated Airborne School .. and am now HOME, and unfortunately, the weather sucks, So much for riding.

I got my orders, and on the 22nd (the day before thanksgiving ) i'll report to Fort Bragg, NC. Anyone from that area?

lawsuit is still in the works. my lawyers are meeting with my recruiter for a deposition on the 22nd, ha that should be interesting. hopefully the lawsuit will settle here soon.
