2000 Bone Stock Black ITR for sale - 30,841 miles
I can't do it anymore - I can't have three cars and driving the ITR to Dallas every other week is killing me. While I love it in town, I can't talk on the phone during the 3 hour commute from Austin (4K RPM w/ no soundproofing equals microphone oversaturation). All that being said, it still gets 30.8 MPG at highway speeds. I'm 45 and don't enjoy climbing in and out of it the way I used to. Besides, the additional miles are killing the car! It just turned 30K. This is just wrong to do to a low mileage Type R...
The car is in great shape and you can count the door dings on one hand. Non-smoker, original owner, always parked in the back forty, garage kept. While I'd like to sell the car, I'm in no rush so please, no low ballers. This is a rare find for a Type R and I want it to go to a good home. It comes with two sets of tires. Weekends on Gunmetal 15" US Rims/Proxes RA-1s and everyday on White 16" JDM Rims/DNA GPs.
Contact me directly at peter@austin.rr.com rather than HT.

No swirl marks on this car. I've never been a fan of these machines for polishing - too much risk that the operator will not be experienced and hurt the car with swirl marks. I have found that a simple random orbit polisher is an excellent way to apply a quality liquid wax rather than remove it. Used as an applicator, it makes the wax uniformly spread out and thin. This makes it a breeze to remove with a cloth.

sry im a detailer, and no polishing noob. a wax applicator is rediculous. sure it looks shiny, but are those scratches really fixed? what about a minor cut and a finish then a seal or wax... meh blacks painful. im not hating the car byall means, its so nice.
sry, if u really wanted to compare the blackness of the car, look at the underhood of the car compared to the top. and after 3 wash's that shine will be gone unless u wax it again. maybe 6 depending on the carwash chemicals. im sure it runs butter smooth though. black sucks
