I'm sure many members on the board will vouch that they will come through provided you pay them.

What kind of extra costs are there to get it into the US?

Don't worry, there's plenty of hidden costs to make up for it.

The worst part is waiting for the US customs to clear the damn parts...

The reason why the board vendors are recommended is their readily available supplies in stock.

I bought from them before. Yea the prices are cheep, however they fu@k you in the shipping cost. They tried to charge me $500 for shipping my old Top Fuel rear bumper lip to me!!! They sent it out like 3 day air and tried to make me pay for it. Forget that. Not to mention I had to do tons of stuff with the shipping company, customs, etc...
They use really bad people to ship which makes it hard. The company that did mine was Bax Global Service.

Overall I wouldn't use them. Just use someone like IPS, etc... to get your JDM stuff from.

FWIW, I had to import my Civic Type R rims from Glen in the UK - terrible, terrible pain in the ***. We pretty much both got reamed on that deal

Basically, the shipping cost more than the wheels did, and I had to drive to Charlotte to claim them. Good thing I've got fellow we-todds down there who were willing to let me crash.

Importing stuff on your own =
Buying from our vendors and letting them do the hard stuff =

to my door for $35 why can't they do the same thing when you order new parts from them?
