Integra LS tryin to get Type R cluster to work
Hi I have a 2000 Acura Integra LS and it was a automatic before but now I converted it to manal 5 spd with a GSR tranny. I left the wiring harness the same but did some adjustments for it to work and its fine now. I also changed my ECU to this:

Here is the type R cluster I ordered:

Ok so here is the problem, whenever I took out the old cluster and plugged in the new one, the rpm works fine but the temperature rises all the way to hot and beyond and the gas goes all the way low. Another problem is when I turn on the turn signals the rpm needle dances from 1 to 0 over and over till I cancell the signal, when I turn on the hibeams the rpm goes to 0 and stays there. ALso the check engine light is on and on top a O looking sign is on. Please help me, thanks!

Ok, here's an easy solution. People will tell you to swap the green films in the back, but since you will need to unbolt each gauge, might as well swap the gauges.
1. Remove the gauge cluster bezel on both clusters.
2. Behind each individual gauge, there are 3-4 screws. Unscrew them to remove the ITR gauges. Do the same for the LS cluster.
3. Take the ITR gauges and bolt them into the LS cluster housing.
4. Take the LS bezel and remove the two right most icon clusters (ie seatbelt, abs, trunk, fuel, etc...), and replace them onto the ITR bezel.
5. Put everything back.

seems like alot of work just to change the circuit board on the back of the cluster. just pull the screws out the back, change the pcb, and put the screws back in. they are actually supposed to be the same considering both are obd2.
