Default Speedo no go

Well since I got my car my speedo goes nuts when I beat it. If I start out in first gear and floor it the speedo will go from 60 to 120 back and forth until I let up. Well now the real problem is TODAY I got my ecu back from phearable and was lovin' it I went and beat down my car and it felt stronger then ever, but then my speedo gave up life and I had phearable program a 2 step launch control and now no matter what my car will only rev to 3500rpms before hitting the launch rev limiter because it doesnt see the car moving. What broke the vss or a wire I checked the connector and its clipped on tight. But like I said before its had the crazy speedo thing since I got it in january, but only when I beat it and now it just stopped all together.

The reason it only revs to 3500rpm is cause it has a 2 step rev limiter,@ 0mph the car will only rev to 3500rpm so now the speedo doesnt work so it will only rev to 3500rpm. I was pretty much just wondering if anyone else had the crazy speedo thing.

vss seems like the problem. wires are ok... did you check the connetions? make sure they're not all corroded

yeah the connector on the vss side is chipped but not a part I would call important. The connector on the car side looks good. I ordered a vss from a honda tech member. Thanks for posting
