you have to change your dx wiring to si. the dx trans will work, but an si or zc trans will allow quicker acceleration

I Did it, take my word on it ('89 DX HB), with a DX trans you will be sadly dissappointed, with a Si trans you'll need to change your shorts. the ZC doesn't really make power untill around 3,500 rpm, the DX trans holds it down to about 2,500 rpm. It will work but the gear spreads are way wrong for the ZC. Wiring issues can be found in large amounts on the net. you'll need a ECU, prefferable a ZC ecu if you can't find that then a TEG ecu and last but not least a Si ecu if you can't find anything else. You'll need a resistor block bron either a TEG or a civic with MPFI. it bolts right up like it belongs there, but you'll need to put a few washers in the left mount to lower that side 1/4 to 1/2 inch OR remove the timeing cover top, OR put a ZC hood on it. do the washer thing, its easy cheap and it works. Most of its just common sense and planning, do the research by ALL the parts then get greasy. Good luck.
