Default rack and pinion removal ?

whats the easiest way to remove a rack and pinion off a 94 civic ?

disconnect the outter tie rods from the control arm... disconnect the hydraulic lines going to the rack... remove the drivers side inner and outter tie rods... remove bolts and remove rack pointing the drivers side down at an angle to get it out. Its been a couple of years but thats what I remember.

do i need to disconnect the header pipe and shift linkage ?
