Will 91' CRX Si calipers and rotors bolt up to '89 DX spindles??
As the title says, I have a set of crossdrilled rotors and pads from my wrecked '91 Si and want to put them on my '89 DX CRX. will they bolt up or do I need to swap the whole spindle over? I searched but could not find this exact question anywhere.
No they don't........ I am guessing the spindles are the same but the calipers are 100% different, believe ME, I have both cars in front of me so there is no debate there. please does ANYBODY else actually know if this works w/o me having to try it first?
Bump.....wow, I'm verysuprised nobody chimed in yet?? I may just have to figure this one out myself?

They are the same. Make sure you have them on the right side. Or maybe you got the front and back calipers from the 91 SI mixed up. If you think i'm talking out of my *** i'm not I had to swap calipers from my CRX SI to my GF's Turbo EF and it was the same and before that I order new rotor and all of the part numbers were the same. If it don't fit you doing something wrong.

it will fit fine.
88-89 all front calipers are the same. (except HF)
until the 90-91 crx si calipers that are different.
but the spindle/knuckle and rotors remained the same. so itll bolt up.

Thank you, that is what I wanted to know! The pads are different on both cars so thats why it was a no brainer on the fact thay they are different. anyway good to know the spindles are the same, that is what I really needed to know.
