How does one know the legitness of the trans? Do you have the vin #?

why its not like u can trace it... Can i open the case on the trans to look at the gears if i come and look at it?

Wrong, you carfax it, check to see if it was stolen, and also check the mileage, genious.

if you're not ineterested in buying, don't post, i would appreciate it.

it was out of a '95, and since you must be the genious, that means it 11+ years old. do you think it still has a shitty little sticker on it? no, it doesn't. but i can get in contact with the person who gave it to me to get the VIN

i do have a sale pending, but if it falls through, i have no problem opening up the tranny for you to see the gears.

Thank you, and it's not a sticker, it's a plate with rivet looking things, a metal plate.
And i was interested in maybe purchasing it, but not anymore.

that's fine, and actually it's not a plate. did you read the post? it's a 95 and they don't come with a plate!! i have a tranny with no rivet holes in it to prove it!

Quick question, are you selling this on drag? Because those pics look exactly the same, and your user name is the same, and those pics are on the thread, that thread says that you sold it. So is this a separate tranny?
Something doesnt seem right to me. It says its sold, and now your using the pictures of a sold transmission for a different one.
