Anybody hear their belt tensioner whining like crazy while the car is just at a stop idling? I think im going to bring it in for a new one under warranty, but i dont feel like taking my cold air and exhaust off, anyone have any suggestions?

 

why would you have to take those off? they dont directly effect what youre saying....

 

yeah, i know i just don't want my honda dealership to bitch about me modifying anything, you know? But yeah it sounds like the tensioner's bearings are shot, anyone?

 

if they bitch, tell them you can just find a dealer that wont... they need your money as well as any other service department. My dealer doesnt say anything about my mods, in fact, last time i was there the guy revved my car (i said he could) and he loved the sound compared to stock.
