Default no sound from my stereoo??

heyy, my alpine stereo and speakers have been working fine and a few days ago my friend was messing around with the alpine deck maybe turning on the volume on too loud?? but now only sound would barely come out of one of the four speakers but at a VERY low volume, i thought the speakers were blown but i switched out my Alpine and put in a JVC deck, now three speakers are working but only at a low volume, if i up the volume everything shuts off, any ideas?? PLEASE, anything would help, thanks again -Mike

You might have blown the internal amp.

If the speakers don't play properly with a known good amp, then check the speakers to see if they're shot, and if not, then check the wiring.
