What's "the usual sound"? How do you open a locked door? When you unlock it with a key, the alarm should disarm.

well the sound is a long, loud, continues horn sound. usually the stock alarm would go off with a horn noise but instead when i push the lock or arm button twice my alarm gets all wacked out. now when i lock it and arm it and try to unlock it by hand it doesnt make any noise. so if someone tried to break into the car, it wont even make any noise. the only noise it makes is when i push the lock button twice. usually when i push the lock button it locks but doesnt make a noise. and when i push it twice it makes a horn noise confirming the lock. now when i push it twice to get a confirmation sound it makes a long, loud, continues horn sound. Thanks alot for your help, i know its alot.

When you lock your doors, you have to wait for about 15 seconds for the alarm to arm. Then it should go off. Does your horn work normally? Sounds like the horn relay is going bad (once getting stuck closed, once not working at all).
