Yeah, my 91 accord lx fan won't stop !

When I shut down the car, the fan don't stop ... after 2-3 minute the fan stop ... and restart after 2 minute ... and the cycle restart !

I unploged the battery ... don't want to buy another one ...

The fact is that after one hour, the fan don't stop ... even if the temperature is -8 degree celcius and its snowing ...

The car temp is normal when i drive or at idle ...

I was thinking that it can be the fan switch near the distributor ... so I unploged it ... no effect, the fan won't stop ...

And i heard weird noise in the top left side of the engine bay when the fan "freak"


Does it can be the relay ? fuse box problem ? ground problem ?!

Anyone can help me ? i have no idea ... i made some search and i found this.

Doesnt that usually mean that your coolant temp sensor is bad or needs to be cleaned?? Try cleaning the connector and see what happens.
