Default car won't start? Urgent help need!!!!!!

I have a problem guys and can't for the life of me figure out what the hell is wrong with my crx. It was starting fine one day then all of a sudden just won't start.I checked and changed all my ground and even the positive wires, the starter is fine, i changed all of my fuses under the dash and checked and changed a blown fuse that i found under the hood. All the rest are fine.My main relay is also good cause i can hear my fuel pump when i turn the key to start. When i turn my key to on(not start) the power comes on and shows me check battery light even though the battery is full of juice. When i actually try to start the car all I get is clicking sound coming from around the center console area behind the climate controls, if the climate control light is on when i turn key is it flickers so i'm thinking it's some kind of short. I also noticed a strange what i can only describe as an electric sound coming from the underhood fuse box area when the key is turned to start as well. PLZ HELP GUYS I"M REALLY STUMPED ON THIS!!!!!!!!! i don't want to have to pay a mechanic to put my damn car on a diagnostic machine and figure out the problem in 5 mins and charge a wad of cash to fix something that I can do myself for free, not to mention the towing fees.

are you getting a full 12-14V at the battery, and are you getting the same voltage to the starter?

^^ what he said

clutch pedal switch ?

hit the starter with a hammer and a long screwdriver while someone is "clicking" the starter see if its stuck.

i'm guessing its just the starter. swap it out with a spare if you have one

Starter is not stuck.I already had checked that. As a matter of fact I took it and the battery out. Bridged the battery to the starter and they both work perfectly(the starter spun and made noise as it's suppose to do). The problem is when they are in the car.I also noticed that the check battery light is on,but when someone gave me a jump(back when i thought the battery was dead) they connect the jump cables and the check battery light shuts off but car still wont start. So i'm pretty sure that the voltage from battery is not getting to starter;but WHY?????????? is question.

Get a new battery, your voltage is too low, when the voltage of a battery is too low it will sap the charge from a jump and make you think that it is a short.

I have a Ford truck that used to act that way. It ended up being the ground from the battery. I was loose and corroded.

Take a look.

Good Luck!
