Is it possible to FORCE open my secondaries???
I have heard of taking off a vaccum line somewhere and it will keep them open all the time right? Is that the hose that is connected to that gold valve thing on the right side of the manifold?
How exactly does this system function? I know that the helms says the vaccum is supposed to stop at 6k if everythings working OK, but I still get vaccum so thats probably why they dont open. So if I just pulled that hose off then they would be forced to stay open???

You don't want the secondaries to stay open all the time. It'll destroy your low-end.
I don't have a G3 Helms, just my '92 for my B17A which doesn't have the pesky secondaries.

Yes it is possible. You have to take the vaccum line off the "gold valve thing". But you have to make sure you plug the line ( with a screw or something) or you will have a vaccum leak. The system works by vaccum. When at low rpm's the valve gets vaccum, which keeps the secondaries closed. And then when you get to a certain rpm vaccum stops and the secondaries open (that's why you hear the louder noise). You'll notice a difference when you do it for sure. I't is louder all the time (at WOT) and it feels faster. Try it and see how you like it.
You do lose some off the bottom end but you make it up on the top end. And the good thing is if you don't like it just plug the line back in and you're good to go.
Unfortunately, mine dont open like they are supposed to. I get vaccum at all rpm's thats why I was wondering if by unplugging the "gold valve thing" I could force them open for days at the strip.
So do I put a cover over the "gold valve thing" too, or just cap off the vaccum hose?

I am hoping to get one SOON......if the price stays right.
I though there was gonna be a groupbuy on them from someone on here? I always see them for 310 shipped, but I know they can be had for cheaper.

I hand ported and polished my GSR manifold for free, I have yet to dyno.
I did a bunch other things at the same time, but there was a difference!

I do know what it is, the stupid ECU isnt wired up right, and I tried to do it myself, but couldnt, so I'll simply work around it if possible.
