Default Used windex to clean my car. Bad?

How bad is using windex to clean the entire car with and how does it harm the car? I cleaned my whole car with windex last week, and I never knew that I wasn't supposed to do that until someone told me. Did using windex just one time really ruin my car? Or is it OK since I only used it once?

^ My car now has the swirls too. Is there any way I can get rid of the swirls? If I wax it after I wash it again will it fix the damage?

yea bad idea windex has an agent in it to get rid of grease and oil (this includes wax seeing how its oil base ) thats how it gets a streak free shine any you didnt damage your clear coat just wax the car when you get a chance before the sun damages your paint
