Default sparco evo: this goes in tomorrow hopefully!

picked this up at mid atlantic trading in new egypt nj. they are an sparco authorized dealer similar to og racing. i'm 6'0" and 190lbs and do a bit of weight lifting. i tried the evo, evo2, and pro2000. the evo2 was too loose in the *** and the pro2000 felt weird (too upright, very loose in the shoulders).
unfortunately mid atlantic and i miscomunicated and i got a civic base mount. they are sending the proper base (97 integra, itr specific) 2nd day air at their expense. mid atlantic = i attempted to install the seat with the civic base (drilled a few holes) and it just wouldn't work.
i'll post up a how-to once i do the installation. on to the eye candy.

Nice. I ordered the same seat in black and am getting it this week for my civic. You did not want to get the slider for it? How is the padding on it *** wise I mean I am using mine for dailydriving? Are u going to use harnesses or stock belt? I have sparco 4 points but dont know where to mount the right lap belt. Under the seat brachket or seat it self.

Well nice mod

i have an autopower rollbar on order, hopefully this will arrive in time for the expo. in the meantime, i will be using the stock seat belt with this nicely rigged belt buckle. since the stock seat buckle is attached to the front front seat, i'm going to use the rear seat buckle and attach it at the back right seat base mounting bolt. i will be getting a long 10mm bolt to replace the short stock one so the buckle will be accomodated.

i'm not going to use the slider. i never move my seat, but more important is the extra helmet room . it will be nice getting my head that much further away from the rollbar. go here http://www.sandmracing.com/ to see how mr aleph installed his harness.

You need to put some duct-tape over that white cable line before somebody trips

Oh yeah, nice seat

Nice! Aleph let me co-drive in his R last week (he's got a Sparco Evo), and I LOVE that seat. Once you get the bar/harnesses in, you won't be able to go back to a stock belt! I know I'm going to have a hard time adjusting back to my stockers

looks good, I tried both the Evo and a pro2000, the pro was a much better fit for me. either way can't go wrong

ha, the rug the seat is on is usually over the cable.

seat, base, rails, nj 6% tax = $670

i found the pro2000 to fit my *** very nicely. it has high side walls and a comfy seat. it comes with the sparco lumbar supports that are adjustable, i thought they were nice but didn't feel right with the seat back construction. the seat back is very straight/upright, i think it would lead to fatigue quickly. the shoulder bolsters were way too loose for me. everyone is built different, that's why ya gotta go sit in them first. blowing $2000 on jdm recaros =

Sweet seat!

Chris - who was thinking of getting a Sparco Evo, but then realized he'd be more comfortable with an Evo 2, cuz of his bum bum

nice seats, i have sparco supersport, they are adjustable, and reclineable with a quick release so u have access to the rear seat.

u should still consider installing the sliders, its always good to have some sort of versitility with the seat, that u can move it forward or backward for easier access in and out of the car.

where did u get the brakets? i had to get them all custom fit so that they bolt onto the orginal bolts, pain in the ***, expensive, but nice job done.
have fun with your seats

I have the Sparco Rev which is similar except smaller. I installed mine seat with the Civic base but had to modify it. I thought Sparco only made the base mount for Civics? If there is one for the integra I wouldn't mind getting one if it is a direct bolt in.
