What are the differences between the two? Performance? Cosmetic?

JDM ITR Exhaust is the same length as the 94-99 USDM GS-R exhaust.
What about non-JDM lengths compared to a GSR's??

JDM ITR Exhaust is the same length as the 94-99 USDM GS-R exhaust.
What about non-JDM lengths compared to a GSR's??
USDM RS/LS/GS/ITR/00-01 GSR are all the same length. Not sure about Aussie or Euro cars though.

Longer than the 94-99 GSRs but the same as 00-01 GSRs.

JDM ITR cat is shorter, so the b-pipe is longer.

That is not correct. The pipe diameter is around 50mm from the cat to the resonator and then 60mm from the resonator through the muffler. The only difference between the JDM and US/North American Mugen exhaust is the length. Everybody else gets a shorter, free flowing cat whereas we get the longer more restrictive cat. Thus, the Mugen exhaust for North American Type R's is slightly shorter, that all.
