Default mini me

hi...i'm about to do a mini me on my friends rex....he wants to stay obd0......can i bolt op the crx si distributor to the vtec head n use the obd0 pm6 ecu n a vtec controller?

i dont see y not but u will have to cut the si dizzy for it to work and u to be able to set the timing right like this...

yes the obd0 distributer can bolt to a vtec head. But i would advise your friend to do a obd0-obd1 conversion so everything works corectly even vtec.

Just to clarify:
it'll bolt directly to the y8 cylinder head. You have to modify it to get it to fit a z6.

you can, and you dont have to cut the dizzy just use large washers..

but IMO this swap is pointless and you wont really gain much unless you convert to obd-1 and actually have vtec activated by it including more fuel when vtec hits.

if you stay obd0 I hope you use a pr3 or pw0 ecu at least


I know its expensive to do 0bd1 conversion........ I have already spended around 150 for all my ****:
obd0-obd1: 76
p28: 75
obd1 distributor: 75

but its very hard to get those at those prices.

ya mine was expensive
obd0-obd1 kit from rywire with all wiring=190
dizzy 100 something
p28 chipped with chip 125
