Apex'i VAFC wiring on a Mini-Me

Apex'i VAFC wiring on a Mini-Me
I'm a little confused in the wiring of the VAFC on my mini me. On the VTEC solenoid there is a wire coming directly from the solenoid head. What is it? The solenoid imput or output or something else. Lower on the solenoid there is a wiring harness for two wires. What are these and do i use both of them? Any other tips that might help me.
