91 dx windshield wiper bushings
The little white plastic dome shaped wiper grommets/bushings... were in the earth can I find them, Honda sells them only with the purchase of the entire rod. I NEED THESE DAMN BUSHINGS my wiper flew over to the side of the windshield while driving in the rain coming home from Little Rock the other day leaving me with only the passenger side wiper working... imagine that. Honda UP! Honda FOREVER!
If honda sells them only with the rod, your best bet would be to get them used. Probably from a junkyard, but I'm sure someone in the classifieds would be happy to sell them to you for cheap.
I put the entire arm on my car becuase who wants to buy used stuff and a week later it breaks and then you have to do the job all over again
To the best of my knowledge the plastic ball clips are permnament inside the metal arm. used junkyard arms will probably due the same thing. Your best bet is to buy new. Good luck!
No, the white clips come off the ball joint of the arm. You should be able to pick them up at a junk yard or order them from Honda. BTW, my wiper goes way the drivers's side post, I've replaced the motor and some of the linkage with spare parts, but it still does the same thing.
I know. The long metal rods have two plastic half circle clips that fit over the metal ball stud. That plastic clip is molded into the arm, can't be removed. If you can remove them let me know how.

Autoworks, Rainex works great. Drove my 1996 accord with no wipers for a week in the pooring rain while I searched yards for the metal rods. Wipers still reposition themselves every four to five strokes. New is the way to go when you need those plastic clips.

I recently pulled my wipers completely off...I got tired of them easing half way up on me whenever I drove it. Used the rainex method on prev. cars with no problems, figured I'd do it on this one too...plus I needed to mount something in the place of the wiper motor
