Default My friend has . . .

a 1988 DX crx and also has a 94 teg, thinking of doing a swap with the teg into the crx, opinions? I was told that this makes a ten second car, and ive searched around but cant seem to find the right link.

see, now I cant tell who is being serious or not after experiencing stuff like this, I am noobish yes, maybe I ask a stupid question from time to time, but I come in peace, for assistance, so I dont make matters worse than they are on cars, id like truthful answers, but it seems those are hard to find, and there is usually someone just hovering in forums like these to try and ruin someones day. I worded the question as simple as I could, maybe you didnt understand it, or maybe you just dont care, but in the future, when you see my posts, if you arent going to help, stuff it.

i assume your friend has an LS teg. an ls swap in a crx is a good starting point but it won't be a 10 second car. i don't know good ls times off had but if i would have to guess i would say mabey mid to low 14s depending on driver, track conditions, car ect ect ect.

mabey with a built ls with a WHOLE LOTTA boost and mabey nitrous you might reach 10s but that tough with front wheel drive

if you need the common sence of factoring a car that weighs oh 300-500 lbs less with same motor will some how run a good 5 secs faster then the stock car, yes you do suck.

It's a nice swap, but if it were that easy to get a ten second quarter mile car, everybody would have one.

but on a series note, a GSR motor with a ...lets just say a ys1 w/LSD tranny could easily get you into the 14s (in the crx)
