Installing a JDM 4.785 Final Drive in a USDM Type-R Tranny
Was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a good DIY article for installing a JDM 4.785 final drive in to a USDM Type-R LSD tranny. I was thinking of picking up this kit: http://yhst-1408381693991.stor....html and giving it a shot one weekend.
Would it be a hard project to do? Just a matter of dropping the tranny, opening it up and throwing the new gears in, right?

If you have ione of the shop manuals like they use at Honda Garage it would be just following direction. I think it's a Helms manual.
yea i have a Chilton's manual but i don't think it goes in to that much detail.
