Default car trouble sucks(especially on saturdays)

Saturday morning i took my car into some shop that was recommended to my dad by his friend. I went in and they changed my timing belt and put in a new waterpump for me. I'm at 101k so i was a bit overdue for the maintenance.
But continuing with the story, so i get the car back. I drove from the shop to my girlfriends house (30 min drive) then back to LA headed towards koreatown and i hear a loud, kind of high pitch noise, then almost a grinding noise. I haven't had any other work done recently but the timing belt so i knew it was that and pulled over right away. Mind you this was just as i was turning the corner off the fwy exit. The car wasn't on for more than 2 seconds cuz i pulled over and shut down right away.
So I'm fuming and i'm incredibly frustrated right about now and so i call the autoclub for a tow and guess what? My dad did not pay for our membership renewals yet, so they want 90 bucks over the phone or no tow. Instead of payin that, i got the # for the two towing companies in the area.

Well my car is dropped with Neuspeed Race and is pretty damn low to the ground. So i need a flat bed. Well, just my luck, both the companies had all there flatbeds out so i had to wait two hours with both companies tellin me that they weren't sure if they could even get to me. But eventually i did get one and i paid them $60 bucks to have my car towed to the shop that did the work, which was only 2-3 miles away from where i stopped.

Of course i had a ride home because i called a friend. Oh by the way, it was his birthday and i was on the way to his party in K-town. So you can see how that was kind of a burn for all of us.

Today, after leaving the car parked in front of the shop over the weekend, the mechanics got to work on it and replaced the timing belt and rechecked everything. They said they couldn't figure what went wrong , and that "in [his] 20years of working as a mechanic, [he's] never seen something like that happen" and well my valve cover cracked as well, just over the cam gears tho, not over the valves or anywhere it would really affect the motor. The valve cover cracked after they(the mechanics) started the car this morning in front of the shop.

The mechanics obviously did the repair work no charge cuz we all know its there fault and they have a used valve cover getting shipped in tomorrow or the next day so that it can be replaced, but the car's running fine now supposedly. I go to school in riverside so my friends are driving the car down right now as we speak from the shop.

Nothing can ruin your weekend as much as car trouble.

that sux!

i had my timing belt and waterpump replaced as well. one dude that helped, forgot to screw on the fucken motor mount and everytime i took off to race fools, my **** would make this ugly squeek. that crazy boost kick would push my motor back and cuase the motor mount to rub on the bolt and strip it hard. i tightened it back up and now that annoying noise is gone.

i was supposed to drive to LA and five minutes after i left my house my car just died out....got it flatbedded back on base and took off on a plane. when we got the motor apart we saw that the timing belt had been shredded to torns ( had left it at a performance shop for hondata tuning yet they insisted to change the timing belt)
